Khenchen Appey Rinpoche

personally entrusted Venerable Guru Lung Du Yung Jing Rinpoche with the historic and significant responsibility of establishing Phags-pa Buddhist Academy in Taiwan and serving as its founder. What’s more, Khenchen Appey Rinpoche bestowed the title “Taiwan Sakya Monastery”, and appointed Venerable Guru Lung Du Yung Jing Rinpoche as the abbot.

Venerable Lama Pema Dorje Rinpoche

is the Lineage of Guru Lung Du Yung Jing Rinpoche, of the Dzogchen, and of the Guiding Teacher of Retreats. Venerable Khandro Kunsang Chozom, the wife of Venerable Lama Pema Dorje Rinpoche, handed over the the Vajra and Bell used by Lama Pema Dorje throughout his life, as well as the Yogi’s robe which is a symbol of the lineage of the teachings, to Venerable Guru Lung Du Yung Jing Rinpoche.
